Two Views~~~Same Mess & An Award!
Cassie here, Baby Rocket Dog & Hootie's human mommy. I'm taking over the post for a brief explanation of these pictures. We are trying to get some things ready for the trip to our cabin up north & I have them piled on the sofa in our extra bedroom. I had to go to the post office this afternoon and left BRD & Hootie home alone. An hour later I came home to THIS! Splenda, my favorite St. Dalfour's teabags, wrapping paper and even my electric piano headphones scattered all over the living room floor. These were all things I had in my pile to go up north. Many of the Splenda packets were broken open and several tea bags chewed up in their foil packaging. Both criminals got put in the lock-up for a short time. Neither appear remorseful. I guess I need to be less trusting of the little villains. Thanks for letting me vent.
Now, back to us! This award came to us from our new, Scottish buddies, the Dughallmor Beagles. Thanks so much for thinking of us. "Comprovado! Seu blog tem nectar" is Portuguese for "Proven! This (it's) blog has nectar." How sweet! Why Does Hootie Keep Getting Into Trouble?
Yup, Hootie got put in jail yet again.
See this unopened TV box in the back bedroom? Notice the hole chewed in the box?
See what was sitting just 2 feet away from the box? Uh huh, that's our toy basket.
I just do not understand why he does such things. Ah well, he is still just a pup! By the way, I'm feeling a little better today. Still a bit of stomach upset but not as bad as it was. Yup, I Am A Tattle Tale Pup!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This is Baby Rocket Dog at 2 1/2 months old~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We just got back from the dog park. Baby Rocket Dog got in trouble because she swiped this other dogs ball and wouldn't give it back. The lady said it's the only ball her dog would play with even though there were probably 20 other balls there. BabyRD is a real brat sometimes. I think she knew it was that Golden's special ball and she would not drop it on command "drop" like she is supposed to. And she even was doing growlie mouth to me as I approached her, which I did repeatedly. Mom had to pretend we were leaving to get her to come to the gate then she (Mom) pounced on the ball after leashing Baby up. That earned BabyRD a 5 minute time out in the car. She looked really embarrassed. The Golden was happy to get her slobbery ball back and I chased her as she fetched it. I am really good at chasing and being chased, but could really care less about a ball. I look at a ball as another chew toy. When Mom got BabyRD out of the car she let us play in the small dog park because there weren't any other dogs there and my thieving sister had to be good.
This bottom picture was taken last week. Isn't it funny how she hikes her left leg up? She did it in the top picture too. She has lots of little quirky things about her. I, on the other hand, am very nearly perfect. Wait 'til she sees this. he he he. She will probably have a kitten!! Won't that be a good trick for a dog?!

She had this loofa dog for a year and we decided to gut it last week. She likes to carry the empty shell around and was afraid I might get it from her. She is really stingy too.
