We saw that sign and knew that it was made for Mom! She farms some of her precious plants out to her green-thumbed pal Blair when we go away for more than a few days. Blair keeps them all happy (and alive) and then when we get home Mom kills them. Not all of them. She leaves several to twist in the wind 'til their day comes. Bol. To be fair, she has done a pretty good job this year (not killing plants). Could be that she hasn't gone away as much.
The second photo is of me guarding our BirdHouse up on Schweitzer. The sign on the deck door says "BEWARE - Guard Airedale on Duty". You can't tell from the photo, but I have one eye opened stealthily keeping guard. Dad bought the stain to do that little deck, but it's been too hot to apply the stain. Now they're predicting some rain (which we need) so that's going to put it off some more. That's okay. I enjoy laying out on it no matter if it's stained or no. Winter is just around the corner, and all the snow we get helps mess up all the decks! Seems silly to even bother staining it at all.
The bottom video was taken by my mom when we were watching the 2 year old granddaughter Rosebud. She doesn't watch tv at her home, so "Granny" will put SpongeBob Squarepants on for a special treat for her. That kiddo sure loves to laugh at that cartoon! The 2 wooden bead bracelets she is wearing she and my mom made. One was to give to her mama, but Rosebud decided she wanted both for herself. That is pretty funny to me. Bol.
Okay, I better go downstairs and bark for a while. Dad hasn't shared his popcorn with me yet and there might be a squirrel outside that needs to know I'm still on duty!!
Mom only owns one houseplant - a Christmas cactus. It's still alive and it's 4 years old. It's amazing! Rosebud is just adorable!
Thanks Molly! Hope you're well.
