A Walk Near Squaw Peak

Mom and Dad with the two of us. Whose bum is that behind us?? We'll never tell. Bol!!
That handsome fellow holding our leads is Dad! Mom took that picture looking for shadows.

We went for an awesome walk near our condo a couple days ago. The folks and our hooman sissy and her husband all walked up the little peak right where we live. That Christmas tree made out of lights is put on the hill every year by the Point Hilton, who is our next door neighbor. At night it looks like a real tree. There were lots of cacti and other thorny plants too. We didn't see any rattle snakes or critters, though we know that there are javalina, quail, roadrunners and bobcats on that hill. It was lots of fun going with the whole family. Then when we got home, we all took a nice, lonnnnnng rest!

You Will Never Guess Our Wonderful Surprise!!

Today Daddy took us both out to Smelly Dog ( http://www.smellydogaz.com ) to get our hairs washed & nails clipped. Not our favorite thing to do, but we got to be with our dad, so we were happy. When we returned home, to our great amazement and surprise, this is what we saw over the fireplace! Take a good look pooches and poochettes. Yes, an Airedale and a Welsh Terrier were both at the first Christmas!! We were so happy to see that, because we have heard all the cool things that Jesus did when He grew up and how He is waiting for us on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge with all our friends. As Christians, our folks are getting ready to celebrate one of their high holy days and are reflecting on all Jesus has done for them in their lives, and giving thanks. We are just thrilled that we can play a small part in that!!

Helping Trim Our Little Tree & Happy Birthday Jess!

We put up this little Christmas tree on Saturday. Most of our decorations are up north, so we made do with some that were in a box that belonged to our hooman sissy. Some of them were ones that she made when she was a little girl. Today is her 31st birthday, so they are pretty old! Sooooo, I am dedicating this post to our very own sissy, Jessica.

Hootie ~ The Duck & Me...

Okay, there is this duck that Hootie loves. It quacks and is so tempting to me. Well, I watched him playing with it and enjoying chewing on it, and I got jealous. Yes, I took it from him. There was this rukus, then our stupid mommy jumped in and gave it back to him. Sheesh.

What's An Airedale to do??

Uh Oh...We Left Rupert Alone In Idaho!!

Sadly, this is the last we'll see of our wheelie brother, Rupert Wheelbur Lambert, for a while. Mommy LEFT HIM in N.Idaho!! Yup. We sure hope he is under the covers now, as it is mighty cold up there. We're in Phoenix now, so we'll be posting snowless pics for you soon...That is unless Mommy leaves us somewhere and forgets about us. Sheesh!
