July 4th Is NOT Our Favorite Holiday....

 We would like to tell all those hoomans who are shooting off fireworks and noise making thingies to STOP IT!!! It is just waaaaaayyyyy too scary for us canines.  We say GIT!!  Now you may think this photo of our mama and sister with face masks on is scary, but NOT as scary as those dumb firecrackers that people think they have to shoot of on the 4th of July.  (Mama looks like Baby Rocket Dog when she is up to no good. Terrier eyes! BOL.)

 We were safe in our cabin when all the ruckus began, but we could still hear some of the loud noises from town and neighbors.  So, we say if you can't be quiet and dignified like us, than GIT!!!

We had to drive to Spokane, Washington to pick up our daddy last Friday and his plane was canceled. But, he did make it in to Spokane, but veryyyyy late at night so we got to stay at the Ramada Airport Inn. It was lots of fun because we got to introduce Flat Brutus to our pop and also got to run in the rain. Lucky for us Mommy bought us some kibble so we didn't have to starve to death. She also got us some new toys that we broke out at the hotel. On our way home we stopped to watch an Independence Day parade and also stopped in for a quick visit with our buddy Dr. Dre. We wanted to introduce him to Flat Brutus before he left Idaho. All in all, it was not a bad weekend for us. The weather was nice and our dad is home. Yippee!!

Hootie & Daddy Bonding & More Play Time...

The pics at the top are Daddy and me bonding after he got back to the cabin. He is all trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey! The brace (& swath) that he has on makes him hot, so that's why he has on his funny shorts. He can't do anything but relax, so Mommy is making sure that is what he does. She says he deserves the rest. There are also 2 photos of the July 4th parade in Sandpoint. It was lots of fun & we saw many pooches too!!
