Our dear friend Mitch went to the Rainbow Bridge today to join his girl, Northford Maggie. This is one of our mommy's favorite pictures of them from back in the day. Both Mitch and Maggie were big fans of watermelon, so we're sure they are probably supping on a nice big piece together now.
We send our love and sympathy to Miss Molly and Mitch's hooman family, who we know will miss him and his guarding & carpentry skills so very much.
We wanted to reminisce about our old friends, so went over to visit their blog, which their mama keeps up so beautifully. We'll miss you Mitch, but know that one day we'll all meet again.

He was "de-clawed" (brutal amputation at the knuckles) when they found him so they figured he was someones indoor cat. When no one came forward to claim him, they went about getting his proper shots, etc. while nursing him back to health. He totally became their cat. The only thing I can say derogatory about Gato is that he was
Rest in peace Gato. You were a good boy and we will miss you.
Well, that is it. Though we have been in the same city several times as Gato, we never got to meet him. He was very high strung and afraid of dogs...And of course there was also the small matter of Hootie wanting to chase
