Grooming & My Health Up Date

Monday evening Hootie got groomed. The groomer, Sylvia, said he was the perfect gentleman & he stood for her like a little show dog! He looks so much older than his 10 months now! Here are a few before and after pictures.

As for me, Baby Rocket Dog, I went to the vet yesterday morning. He said I must be an athlete (which made me proud, as I do play a mean game of fetch!) because I had a good strong heartbeat and it was slow. I did have some blood in my stool, but no parasites or anything. I am on a bland diet of long grain, white rice and chicken broth. Not too bad actually, when you're starving!! Dr. Boggess said I either have a sensitive GI tract or it could be Crohn's disease or something like that. Mommy has to watch my pooh for any further blood of course, diarrhea and I am taking an antibiotic just to make sure I don't have an infection.

I'll keep you all posted on how I'm doing.

Airekisses & hugs, Baby Rocket Dog

Oh Hootie, you certainly look different! Funny how you always close your eyes in the photos. Sorry to hear that you are still a bit under the weather, Baby - hope it's a passing thing...
all the best,
Ruby

He does look more grown up, but I think the grown up aire cut helps with that. Momma says when her dale got his first real aire cut they called it "pulling his head off." That sounds scary.

Hootie does look a little more grown up. Nothing like a first haircut to do that.
We are hoping that your poo gets better soon.

Hootie you've been a Hottie this whole time, just hiding under that hair. The cut looks great on you. I really like the way that they tamed your fuzzy face without cutting it.
