Baby got her hairs cut yesterday at "PS" and the gal apparently didn't know what an Airedale is supposed to look like. She looks like a freaky Giant Schnauzer! Mommy finally got up the courage to call the place today and she's taking BabyRD back in to see if they can at least blend the hair on her back legs and mid-section. It's pretty bad pups. At least it will eventually grow back and by then we'll be home in Idaho and the best groomer in the world, Jody from Sandpoint, will fix her up. I feel so sorry for her now, I can't even make any jokes.

Poor Baby Rocket Dog! Tell Hootie not to make fun of you! We have each had some bad Aire-cuts in the past year, but no more! We are now going back to Cindy where she cuts us with an Airedale show cut. Don't worry...it won't take too long to grow out!

That is the thing about hair-it does grow. We all think you are still beautiful and just a bad haircut wouldn't change that.
Don't worry, Baby Rocket, you are still pretty. The hair will grow back in faster than you expect.

We have all been there!! This past summer, the groomer (who always did a fab job) shorn me like a baby sheep!!! It's so embarrasing!!! At least our fur grows quickly!chin up, pretty girl!!

PL2 says that with her last puppy who was a Welshie he used to get cut like a schnauzer all the time!!!! So she and PL1 decided to try it themselves with us... We will not go into what we look like...Love and kisses A+A

Ha ha! That happened to Grandpa Angus. He went to a groomer that made him look like a poodle, but momma kept taking him back because she was the only groomer that he would let touch him (so I guess he liked that cut).

Oh.. i happen to like the sleek look. It brings out your best features. And.. I don't go to the groomers. Mom does some clipping on me herself. It is not a pretty site and I don't recommend her grooming either. So at least you have a professional.. I can't fire my mom.

Don't worry. It is amazing how quickly our hair grows back. Just remember the beautiful you is still there on the inside and although you feel upset we think you are a lovely girl.
I always bring a photo of a correctly trimmed Airedale when going to a new groomer. It helps avoid the worst.
