Hootie: a sign of things to come!
An open letter to the Spring Fling winners:
Dear Asta, Mason, Chase, Maggie & Mitch ~
We helped Mommy wrap your prizes up this evening. She likes to do that sort of thing on her bed because she can spread everything out. There were a few incidents, but everything is now ready to go out in the mail tomorrow morning. Hootie ran off with Mason's Jai Alai ball toss but Mom caught him before he made it his own. If you'll remember from the March 19th post, he had his eye on that for a while. Sorry about that Mason, he didn't slobber on it too much. Then, I got up on the bed and stole a bone she was going to tuck into a package. I got the plastic wrap off of it and yum was that tasty. Mom made both of us kennel up at that point. She told me I was a greedy guts! Hey, that bone looked just like one that she should have bought for me...how was I to know? Anyway, she finally got everything wrapped and now it's just waiting to be mailed tomorrow morning. Yippee!

Mason is lucky that Hootie gave her gift his stamp of approval! We sure hope he slobbered on ours too! We can't wait for it to arrive! Thank you so very much! We will be watching the mailman like a hawk for the next few days!

There was a report on the news last night about some "wild animal" going into an Arizona bar and running amok with the patrons. I was worried for a second there that it might be you! But it turned out to be just an old bob cat. I am glad that you were busy helping mommy wrap gifts and keeping yourself out of trouble!

Everything got mailed out on Thursday morning. Let us know when you recv. your prizes, okay? And as for you John Poole: ha ha very funny. That wild animal could have been Hootie. You should see him when he gets upset with me. No joke, he is like a nutcase! Sharp, white teeth snapping and weird little pup growls all over!
