Tuckered out me (above) and pooped out Hootie (below)
It was very hot here today. 95 degrees F. outside. The news said it was 100 degrees F. in Spokane, WA. That’s 30 degrees C. for you pups on the other side of the pond. Hot!!! The cabin even got up to 79 degrees F. on the main floor. Lucky for us, the basement bedroom has stayed at a comfortable 68 degrees F. Okay, enough of the weather report. Wanted to fill you in on the heat here, so you will understand the photos. Being terriers we insisted on running around outside for a while. Mom had tossed the ball for me (BRD) around 630a.m. But, by 530p.m. I was in the mood for some more action, so Hootie and I took Mommy out front for a little romp. As you can see from the last video, we took off down the road and poor old Mommy had to go inside to get the whistle to call us back home. He he. I’m thinking there was a deer or some other critter that I caught wind of. Anywhooo, we are back home now and it’s time for a rest on the cool tiles. Have a lovely weekend friends!

Crikey that is hot. We just checked out a temperature conversion website and 100 = 37 C. My word that is melting material.
You look very relaxed on that stone floor.

It does sound hot though - we liked your video clips where we could see how much fun you guys have.
We particularly liked the last one where you disappeared into the wood and we could hear your mom call to 'come back'.
Of course these humans will never understand dog business.
We know you had to check out the scents in those woods.
We are now only off our leads for small amounts of time as the more freedom we have the more we take off.
Mind you our mum has now lost weight with all the exercise in getting us back!!!

Wish we had a bit of hot weather here in the UK - nothin' but rain, rain, rain. You guys look really nice and cool on the stone tiles in your cabin.

My mum has a whistle . I listen to it - Nelly doesn't ... always. She likes to run and run - we call it going for a 'blast'. It looks great where you live!

Geez....is it hot there.....phew.....this has been the wettest coolest summer we have had fer years....hasn't even hit 90 yeat fer even one day.....Gram hasn't had the wir on at all.....not that we use it much anyway....it has ta be close ta 82 or more in the house before she turns it on and then it is only set at 78 degrees...
But it looks like the heat didn't bother ya at all....do ya have a pool ta cool off in ???? Sure hope so.....

It has been the coolest summer ever here...it's crazy, Hootie...it's been mostly in the seventies here in PA...and it's August already...and rain, rain and more rain...sheesch....

ACtually, this time when I blew the whistle they came! Not so yesterday evening before sundown. I had to get in the car to go looking for them. They were in deep trouble when I found them at the county road. Now I won't let them off leash until they look trustworthy. hmmmmm. We'll see.

I know how you feel. Lying on the tile during the day is the only thing I like to do. But that leads to cabin fever and sometimes you just have to run and run. Hope you guys didn't get into too much trouble!

Frankly, I think I've partially rusted we've had so much rain....(Lacie cranks her head around to look at her back and sure enuff her red curls are deeper in color...rust...)
