I will devote this column to a new item that my mommy bought for me called PORTION PACER by Omega Paw Inc.(a Canadian company). My PORTION PACER was purchased at the Pamida store in Libby Montana, but there is a website for this product too. (Just click here!) The reason I (apparently) need this item is that some hoomans think I gulp my food too fast. I, of course, don’t think that, as my reasoning is if I eat real fast then I can go steal Hootie’s food. The ad with the PORTION PACER says it “helps to prevent vomiting, choking and bloating“. Lovely…they are some of my favorite things!! Anyway, this strange ball that is the PORTION PACER has slowed my eating down quite a bit. I even stop and look up a few times when I eat my evening meal! Breakfast is so meager that it hardly matters.
So, I give the PORTION PACER a solid 5 Poochie Paws, my highest mark, because it really does what it says it will.

Oh no, first thing mum said was, that's what we need....Let's hope she doesn't get ideas from reading this...who wants to eat slow? It's the gulping of food and cross-checking bowls (amongst other things) that makes a real Airedale...
At least that's what we think...

we have bowls that are suppose to slow us down, but it is questionable.
OH - we might need one for Paddy - he really loves food and almost inhales it. We will check it out.

Interesting report! Martha gulps down her food in seconds and then hovers over Bailey to see if she leaves anything.
We have never seen a dog eat so quick!!!
We must have a look and see if they have these bowls in the UK!

We tried a brakefast bowl for Penny, but she couldn't get her snooter in far enough to get all the food. Your bowl looks like it would be better for here!

Glad ta hear that Portion Pacer works fer ya Rocket......we all love balls here so I can't imagine that we would eat at all if one was sittin' in our dish....but then maybe that's the reason it works....yer too distracted ta gulp it all down....

I used to inhale my food too when I was little but then Mummy made me chew bones and now I'm as slow as Finni - he never rushes.
It sounds a fun thing to have in your bowl though ...
