Baby Rocket Dog has been "sick as a dog" today. Both ends. It wasn't pretty. I just have a little stomach upset. But poor Baby, she had a case of the back door trots most of the day. When Daddy got home from work & took her to the dog park, she threw up twice to and from the dog park. Mom says this is what happens when a pup ingests almost 2 pounds of dog biscuits in a sitting. (We broke into a jumbo box of large Vita Bones when they were out last evening.) Lucky for me I don't have a touchy stomach like Baby does. She should know better by now, wouldn't you think?!
Our friend Bridget lent Mommy the book "Dog Heaven" the other day. When her boy Mack went to the Rainbow Bridge a good friend of hers gave her this book as a gift. It is a really good book and I think it should be required reading for all pups and their hoomans.
Now, I'm hoping that BabyRD isn't on her last legs, but it was still good for her to read this book, just in case.

Oh no, poor BabyRD. We hope she's ok. We'll keep our paws crossed so she is better soon.
Take care

We hope Baby Rocket will be much better soon! I guess too many biscuits was always going to have nasty consequences. I did that once with salmon (which wasn't meant for me) and I paid for it for two days afterwards with a funny tummy!
lots of woofs

We hope Baby Rocket gets well soon - we hate to hear of any having diarrhea. Getting rid of all of those Vitabones through both ends should help. Our paws are together in prayer for BRD and the family that has to take care of her.

With Baby's history of a sensitive stomach, we wondered how she would fare after scarfing the box of bisquits...now we know! Poor dear, she must feel pretty bad. Hope it passes quickly.
cheers,
Ruby

Portion control is what it's all about- so I'm told! Feel better soon, Baby!
well gee, i was coming over to your blog to answer your question from my blog...and you are SICK! hmmm and your humans are reading RB type books -- now that's scary BRD <-----i think that was probably what scared the shccctuff out of you! a box of biscuits is like a ton of bricks <---i know because uncle clancey warned me about that a long time ago so....no no no no no no no no....never ever eat a whole box--1/2 box or more then 5 they just get bigger and bigger and well now you know "what goes in comes out"...and not always at the same speed -- arghghghgh

You have a good mommy to take care of you.Get well soon BRD!
I hope you are feeling better soon, I think it is way way way too early to be reading a book like that. Your mom is scaring me. =)
Gosh BRD, It doesn't make us feel very good to see you sick and your mom reading that book at the same time. I'm sure it’s just the crazy indigestion. You know you are only designed to eat so much deliciousness at one time. I’ll keep checking in to make sure you get better soon.
OH NOES! Get well soon!

Ciao dolci amici!
Ohhhhhh, BRD, I am so sorry you're having a bad-tummy day. I'll bet it was those biscuits. Sometimes plain rice or rice with a little chicken (or ground beef) can help -- did you give that a try? I will keep my paws crossed that you feel all better soon.
Hootie, you're a good piccolo fratello for looking after your sorella!
Tanti baci!
Lucia
Sorry to hear you're not feeling good. Next time, let me know when you break into a packet of biscuits. I can help you out so you won't have to eat so many yourself.
Oups...I hope you will feel better soon...
Kisses, Faya
PS : REALY ??? 28 biscuits ??????
Oh, poor Baby Rocket! Sounds like she has that same nasty bug that Lacie (holyterrier.blogspot.com) had last month. No fun for anybody. Drink lots of water, Baby, or even some Pediassure for kids so you don't get too dehydrated!
Feel better soon!
Your pal,
Petey
We sure hope you're feeling better after eating all of those cookies, Baby Rocket! We know how much of a temptation they can be!

Feel better BRD!! Tanner is just like you, never knows when to stop then gets sick. The vet said to give us a pepcid AC when that happens, and it helps.

Please give Baby RD some big juicy healing goob smooches from me and from Stella. Hope the zooking and trottin' are all done soon! Better out than in! Keep us posted, okay?
We're going to have to check out that book. My girl always says if there aren't any dogs in heaven then she doesn't want to go. Maybe this will help her straighten out some spiritual questions.
Goober love & smooches,
Stanley
