Still Waiting...

Here I am waiting for my sister, BabyRocket Dog, to come home.
 And waiting.
And still waiting.

Well, those drains that they put into Baby Rocket Dog are letting out lots of fluid.  Looks like blood, but the vet said it's a mixture and just trying to fill the void that the tumors made.  She has been staying at the vets because all the blood & the smell of blood made Mom sick.  Really.  She couldn't keep her cookies down. Ugh.  There still is no word from the University Of Washington about the biopsies.  Mom went to change Baby's shirt and walk her today. They were so happy to see each other.  BabyRD's cubical  had been washed once already in the morning, but she cleaned it again, and again, Mom got sick.  Dr. Hall said that he had been trying to figure out how he could bandage her wounds, but because of where they are located it is difficult.  I guess I'll have to be an only "child" for a bit longer.  Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. We appreciate them so much.

Well, Hootie, if BRD is getting treated like the princess that she is, then it is OK for her to stay there a little bit longer even though I know you miss her. Hopefully those drains will be out soon and she will be home where she belongs.

Hi my darling Hootie,
I am sorry you are alone.I will come up and visit with you. I just have to make sure it is ok with Mommy. If I can't, I will send a big care package. I told Mommy that she has to get those vitamins that helped my big sister. I hope that the results are negative. I'll also send up some rats. I'm sending up Welsh kisses to you my love. I have one color selected for the wedding. It is my favorite color, pink. Your favorite color can be the other one.

Hootie,
Could you ask your Mommy to send me your snail mail address please? I'm sorry your sissie is away, but she is somewhere she is loved and cared for. She will be home soon.

Staying at the vet's for now seems like the safest solution. It would be so hard to give her proper care and keep the drainage areas clean--even without Mom getting sick.
Hoping for good news---
