Today Daddy took us both out to Smelly Dog ( http://www.smellydogaz.com ) to get our hairs washed & nails clipped. Not our favorite thing to do, but we got to be with our dad, so we were happy. When we returned home, to our great amazement and surprise, this is what we saw over the fireplace! Take a good look pooches and poochettes. Yes, an Airedale and a Welsh Terrier were both at the first Christmas!! We were so happy to see that, because we have heard all the cool things that Jesus did when He grew up and how He is waiting for us on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge with all our friends. As Christians, our folks are getting ready to celebrate one of their high holy days and are reflecting on all Jesus has done for them in their lives, and giving thanks. We are just thrilled that we can play a small part in that!!Smooches from pooches,

Your mama asked last week if Mabel had her own blog. If she had one then Alice would want one...and Suzy...and Blue...and MamaDog....and Jed....and, oh well - you get the picture. They just have to settle for making appearance on mine.
That is a very nice nativity set. And now it is even more special with the arrival of those two pups - we love it.

That is such a cool manger! We want one! Our Gramma and Grampa have a manger but Mama says it is super old and came from Italy and was passed through the family. So we cannot touch it! And there are no dogs or cats in it at all.
