Everlasting Treats ~ Another Consumer Report

Posted by Picasa
Hello dear friends!

This is my latest consumer report on a treat that Hootie and I have enjoyed. This item is called Everlasting Treats by Star Mark. Our Mom was complaining that I gobble down Greenies and other such tasty treats within seconds (yes, seconds!) of receiving them and a friend suggested getting me an Everlasting Treat ball. She said it takes a long time for a pooch to get the treat out of the ball. Well, I can get the treat out of the ball in the blink of an eye! But, once I get the treat I have to do a lot of chewing to finish off the treat which is very hard, so Mommy is pleased with this and so am I. It takes Hootie a bit longer to get the treat out of the ball, but it is my ball, so it is kind of large for his little Welshie mouth. The balls & treats do come in 3 different sizes, depending on the size of the pooch. Also, the ball can actually hold 2 treats at a time, but we have never tried it that way...The treats are quite expensive so she doles them out sparingly. hehe.

We purchased our ET ball and refills at our Co-Op store in Idaho, but we checked, and you can 'google it' and find plenty of places to purchase the Everlasting Treats ball on line.

So, to conclude, I give the Everlasting Treat system a good solid 4/5 rating. The only reason it's not a 5/5 is because I do get it out of the ball quite quickly and the refill treats could be a bit less costly.

Thank you for stopping by. If you would like to review any of my past consumer reports or Q & A's, just put the word "consumer" in the top lefthand corner of our blog and it will recall them. Have a good week pals!

Your Canine Consumer Reporter,
Baby Rocket Dog

we looked at those but Mesa is a fan of "if I can't get it out in two seconds flat I will destroy the thing that holds it" and we don't think this is sturdy enough to hold up to Mesa

Thank you for your report. I know will give you my personal feedback: I love those things, but only when they're not in the ball. If they're in the ball, I just take a lick or two for the taste but then I give up. It's too much work (I should mention for the rest of your followers that I'm a rather tiny Chi).
Glad you two love them :)

We've never heard of those treats. Something for Mom to look for the next time she makes us stay at the "spa" and needs to give us a pressie.

Love this idea and what a wickedly good reporter you are Baby Rocket! Mom wishes she had seen this before. She got me one about a year ago and like you I can get it out easy peasy and wolf it down pretty quick too! Haven't had it since...

Here's my report on the reindeer long legged!! Boy oh Boy it's Brilliant. I spend so long flinging it my face about I haven't even attempted to kill the squeeky yet, which I usually do in a nano second. Jumped up and snatched it off Mom yesterday when we were playing and ripped a big hole in her new jumper. Oops. Yep Rudolph is a big big hit. 10/5 is my score

Wiry love Eric xxxxx

Now if only it came with its own force field to keep Relentlessly Huge Beasties from stealing it that would be great.

You mean you have to WORK for your treats? My, oh my. Wait till my moma gets wind of this. She'll probably be looking into this ET ball to see if she can actually get me to "play" with something.

Jake wants to know ... can you fling it about and not get in trouble?

Great report! Amazing BRD.

What a fantastic consumer reporter! Great review from the canine perspective.
We have never heard of these and don't think they are available in the UK.
Never mind we have found that the filled bones are long lasting however we cannot be left alone with them in case an argument ensues as to who is the owner of the bone!
Looking forward to more of your indepth reports.
love you lots

I've heard those truly are indestructible. We have the Everlasting Treat Ball, and Cabana hasn't been able to make a single rip in it.

Life With Dogs said...

Nearly indestructible is as good as we have found with any dog chews or toys. I have yet to find one that truly lasts...

Gee what a great report Baby Rocket Dog......I actually got an everlasting treat ball from Toffee in the international goodie exchange a year or so ago.....I also got the treat outta the ball rather quickly and unfortunately scarfed it up inta my mouth pretty quickly too. It's hard get anything that's Dewey Dewster proof fer long....but I tell ya I enjoyed it ta the very last bite.....

Oh good! Nice solid report there. I tried that exact one as well...yes, the treat came out pretty quickly....I think mom took it away when she thought I might choke on the treat as I munched...(nervous mom)...now she freezes the outter part with peanut butter, as one of my regular treats. Works pretty good.

Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose

BR
Junior reporter... nice detective work. I have a tricky ball filled with lil itty bitties and mom gives me a frozen apple sauce cup that lasts at least 5 minutes. We may have to try this too!

What a great report, BRD! Of course, WE would have to have 3 of those treat balls and even then, there would probably be an Aire-fight!

Hmmm, they might be just the thing for my bored little sister. She LOVES the card you made her and keeps walking round the house saying 'I'm a princess! I have a crown!' It might stop her trying to destroy MY basket!
Thanks for this report BRD!

Hi Baby Rocket Dog & Hootie!! I have never tried one these but have seen them in the stores. The thing my pawrents have found that I don't destroy in the blink of an eye is a piggy hoof. It's the one thing that I can chew on and not have it disappear in an hour. In fact, I think it will never disappear. :)

Mom bought me one of those - I learned to get the treat out within about 5 minutes. Now I can pop it out almost instantly. We agree, though - they do last a long time nonethless!

Thank you for this informative report. We have something similar so pinkie won't indulge in this number, and therefore we won't either (isn't that funny how that works...)
