Obedience Class Photos

Holy cow! You can actually see my eyes in these photos. Do you like my big browns?!

This is my diploma. Cool, huh?

This is Mikkel Becker Shannon, our fearless leader/trainer!
If you click on Mikkel's name it will take you to a page with her bio. Hers is 2nd on the page.

This is one of the "pup cakes" that Mikkel's mama, Teresa, baked especially for our obedience class graduation. We brought this one home to share with sissy, since she didn't get to attend.
The little bone had the word "DOGTOIDS" printed on it!! (Mommy couldn't get it to show.)
BTW, Teresa was our photographer today while we ran through our paces.

This is me, Hootie, demonstrating a sit/stay/watch me.

Here I am doing a heel/watch me. Looks perfect, eigh??

Here I am again, doing a heel.

This is Molly & her hooman man

Ryleigh and her girl, Michelle.

Me with Mommy doing a sit/stay. Willie directly in background with his hooman, Lex.
Fiona and her mama---I don't think Fiona was following teacher's instructions. BOL!

Baby Rocket Dog insisted that I include a photo of her obeying Daddy.

We want to send out a big "Thank You" to Mikkel for teaching me to be a better pooch. I hope to make her proud of me. Also "Thanks" to the really cool board ladies from Second Chance Animal Shelter who acted as aides during all the classes. And lastly, "Thank You" to Dr. Marty & Teresa Becker for raising such a cool hooman lady. I'd LoVe to jump up on her and give her sloppy kisses, but I'm learning not to jump up on hoomans anymore, soooo I'll just send her a virtual hug & smoochie:

Sure hope you have enjoyed this little peek into my final obedience class. Later on I'll post more pictures that Mommy & Daddy took the 2 previous weeks, and also Teresa's recipe for the healthy pupcakes.

Sending lots of Welshie love to all my buddies,

ps-Did you notice that I dressed up in my finest Welsh flag kerchief that Eric got me?? Snazzy.

Oh Congratulations Hootie - you've graduated!
You were looking so very smart in your pics today - love the bandana.
We hope you are going to frame your pawesome certificate.
Your mom can look at it when you sniff a bunny and forget all that sit/stay stuff!
We have to say you did look a little like the class swot but we guess if you were getting treats you had to!
We see Baby Rocket Dog is joining in your fine example.
We look forward to the pupcakes recipe.
Our mum keeps promising to make us some.
love from the dog school dropouts

Ciao bello Hootie!!!

Mio caro amico, I, Lucia, am verrrrry impressed with your eccellente obedience skills! Congratulazioni on passing your class in such a magnifico -- and dapper, with that handsome scarf! -- way.

I, Lucia, have taken obedience class, too! (Note from la mia ragazza: yes, she has. Three times ... sigh ...) This Thursday, I am starting a Canine Good Citizen training class, but la mia ragazza, pessimista that she is (pllllbbbbbb!) says she does not hold out much hope regarding my success in it. I don't know why she says such things! I did exceptionally well in my agilities classes, and, in fact, was the only doggie in them to spontaneously run a free-style of the entire course multiple times in a row while the remainder of my classmates and their pawrents stood and watched in awe. La mia ragazza, on the other hand, did not express awe at my magnificent athletic abilities because she was too preoccupied with wildly flailing my treat bag around and shrieking, Lacie-like, "LUCIA! LUCIA!!!!!!!!!!!LOOOOOOOOOOCHEEEEEEEEEEEUHHH!COMEHERESTOPPITLUCIARIGHTNOWI'MNOT KIDDINGGETOVERHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!LUCIANOW!!!

Ah, I turned an adorable deaf ear and blasted off into the chute -- twice in a row!!! Heeeeeeeeeee!!!! BUT, training is sooooooo much fun, though, isn't it!?!?!

Big huggies to my girlfrennn, Baby Rocket Dog!!!

Tanti baci!

PeeEss: la mia ragazza says your mama has such bellissima capelli!!!

Yay, congratulations!! A job well done. You're a graduate now. Add the PetZoom to your car's decor and you'll be well behaved everywhere! If you were serious about getting the PetZoom, let me tell you that while it's not guaranteed for all, it worked like magic for my pack. Good luck. You may want to chose another similar product so that we can compare notes to :)

You are doing so very well - just don't pay any attention to Fiona. ;)

twinkietinydog said...

I guess obedience class and the PetZoom will make you the perfect dog, Hootie.
Seriously, you spent $40? You know what though, if it works like it did with us, you won't mind one bit. I did mention another sonic system that costs only $10, but since we haven't tried that one we still swear by ours (which incidentally got used as I was typing this BOL)

Hootie. We saw it. We saw how you gaze into your moma's eyes. You'd do anything for her. Wouldn't you? Moma keeps looking for that look in OUR eyes, and sometimes we approach it if she has food in her hand. Somehow we're thinking obedience isn't anywhere in our near future. But that's okay. We're generally pretty good dogs. Mostly.

You're doing a great job. Mom is doing obedience class with some of us, then later in the summer we'll go to school with other dogs and take a class there. In October there is a trial here and Mom says one or two of us can compete, if we pay attention and learn a lot.
