You'll Never Guess Where We Are!! Chanukah. AND Post 1-0-0. Yippee!!

The above photo is us in the front lobby of our hotel. Take a good look at the sign below. It says PETS STAY COMFORTABLE. This is where we are staying right now. The Red Lion Inn in Bellevue, Washington. Our mommy is very happy that there is such a nice hotel that welcomes us with open arms. She thinks the bed & pillows are extra comfy too. Thanks Red Lion.

This is Hootie telling Daddy that it's time to wake up. We have a long day ahead of us.

Here I am checking out Mom's purse. See the little blue bone to the right---that's for picking up poo when we go out for a walk. Cute, huh?
Here we are in our kennels. Not bad, 'cuz we have nice pillows in them and they are comfortable.
This is the thermometer that will go to the winning pooch. We have one just like it and think it's very cool because it has the temperature measured in degrees Fahrenheit AND in dogs!! Our folks purchased them at a wonderful store in Polson, Montana called Three Dog Down. Not many places have the consideration to measure the weather in dogs like they do. BOL. (This place has terrific down items...check it out!)

We couldn't tell you this before, but yesterday we picked Daddy up at the airport in Spokane and from there we drove across Washington State to Seattle!! Up until we picked Dad up we got to sit in the car seats, but after we had to stay in our kennels. It was a long trip (about 9 hours in all) but well worth it. We got to see our hooman sissy, Jessica and her husband, David! We were a birthday surprise for Jessica this morning. She had NO idea when her hubby took her out to breakfast at JoeBar that we would be there waiting for her. (Guess who forgot to bring her camera...oh mother.) Tonight the folks are going over to a big party for Jessica with the theme "Back In Black". Something to do with electricity, AC/DC. We get to stay at the hotel in our kennels. Oh goody.
Update: This pic is of Jessica changing the music at her party. She wears feathers in her hair!!

Now, for those of you of the Jewish faith we want to wish you a very happy 1st day of Chanukah. Last night was the first night to light a candle on the menorah, the 25th of Kislev on the Jewish calendar. It's a real festival of light!!

AND last but not least, this is our 100th post. When we get back to farrr North Idaho we will draw the winners of the 1-0-0 Give Away. You still have a chance to win if you leave a comment after this post. The polls don't close 'til Tuesday morning.

To wrap this all up, we want to wish our hooman sister, Jessica, a very Happy 29th Birthday! Mommy will take pics tonight and post them on her blog soon.

We love all you good buddies.

Smooches from pooches,

Baby Rocket Dog

Hi Guys
We don't know where to start! First of all many congratulations to Jessica - we hope she had the best birthday ever.
That was such a surprise we reckon it probably was and how cool that you were there too!
We just love the idea of dog friendly hotels - we have not stayed in a hotel yet but Harry, mum's last basset was fine in hotels.
Then again he was more sociable than us - well than Martha!!!
Anyways we enjoyed seeing you on your trip although that sounded like a very long drive!
We have those silly poo bag things too - isn't it strange what humans do?
Have the best of times and many congratulations on your 100th Post!!
We have loved getting to know you guys through your blog and are very glad you are our friends.
We look forward to the next 100 posts!!!
love and kisses

Happy Birthday human sissy Jessica. Nothing like fuzzy faces to make it a great day.

Mango

P.S. Yeah, when I moved in, Grandpa Angus the Airedale was still around. He was totally cool and momma really misses having a dale around the house. I think that is why I have so many terrier pals. I am a terrier lover too!

Hi
Congrats on your 100th post. Well done!
As regards Chanukah, though I myself am not a religious dog, I have to say that I do enjoy these festivals, as so often they involve food. (Lent, I am not so keen on....) My Jewish neighbour here always has some eatables in her hands when she comes round to visit. I think it must be a very good religion.
Cheers! H.
PS Special kisses to BRD....

Enjoy you hotel stay. I bet the hotel will want to put that cute photo of you two in front of their tree in their Christmas brochure for next year. And remember you can always order room service when you need a little snack.
