Hootie & Daddy Bonding & More Play Time...

The pics at the top are Daddy and me bonding after he got back to the cabin. He is all trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey! The brace (& swath) that he has on makes him hot, so that's why he has on his funny shorts. He can't do anything but relax, so Mommy is making sure that is what he does. She says he deserves the rest. There are also 2 photos of the July 4th parade in Sandpoint. It was lots of fun & we saw many pooches too!!
The bottom collage is of the fun visit we had with Dr. Dre last weekend. If you click on it, you can bigify the pictures to read Mommy's clever texts. Hope you all had a great week.

It looks like you are taking great care of your Daddy. We know if it's hot there, he really needs you to snuggle really close. hehehe

How convenient that your dad is immobile, allowing you to position yourself wherever you want to.

I hope he does his resting. Sometimes the humans can be very impatient with their recovery. At least he doesn't have to wear a cone.

Hootie, your snuggles just have to make your Daddy feel better and help his arm to heal fast. And if he gets too hot, you could transport some nice cool water to him with a good wet sloppy beard and a good shake off a wet body. Soon he'll be tossing a ball for you again!

Keep up the snuggles,
Jake and Fergi

Those are great snuggles - it is important to keep his legs warm when he can't reach for the blanket! Sorry to see he isn't well - but we hope he heals quickly and is back to fine form soon.

Lots of licks

Your poor daddy does not look comfortable at all. Great job snuggling with him. Our people need that when they are on the mend.

Lots of treats,

Hi BRD & Hootie,
Did you guys make it to the parade?
I wanted to go too, but mom & dad said they were too busy cleaning out storage! So I was stuck in there with them! So lame!

Please give your dad some big juicy goober smooches from Stella & I to help him heal up PRONTO! In the meantime, I can think of nothing better than therapeutic sleeping of the Hootie dog on top of him at all times. With you (and Baby RD) by his side, I'm sure he'll not only heal up, but he'll LOVE the process!

Goober love & smooches,

Pee S
LOVE the photos of your time with Dre. His photos were hilarious too!

Oh your poor Dad, thank dogness you are there to look after him. These humans do need extra dog time when these things happen. They are not like us dogs. We see at least he doesnt have a horrid collar to stop him pulling out his stitches!!!
Get well soon Dad.
