This And That...

Well, Daddy is back in Phoenix now and it's just us pooches and Mommy. We miss him already.

These are some photos they took at the Forest Ranger Station just outside of Troy, Montana last week. Mom was on a special mission that may become clear to you at a later date. The ranger at the desk was a real sweetie. She even sent Mommy an email with some cowpoke named Gene Autrey singing the Smokey the Bear song. It was so cool. Mom can't figure out how to post it on the blog though. Oh well.

The picture of daddy with his Life Is Good mug is a favorite of ours. Isn't he a cutie pie?

The bottom photo is of a book cousin Sheila sent to our Mom last year. It is really a good one and also inspirational, which our mommy really needs sometimes. Thanks again cousin Sheila!

Pedey The Cairn Puppy

We are not sure what is going on here, but our hoomans have been photographing an awful lot of other pooches lately. These photos were taken of our friend LaRae's new Cairn terrier pup named Pedey. Daddy took them with his cell phone! Mommy said she'll get better pics later on with her camera. LaRae is a nurse at our Vet's office so she takes Pedey with her to work every day. Lucky dog. He is named Pedey (pronounced PT) because of his potty habits. BOL.

The Dogs of Balfour Bay

We got to take a road trip to Canada with Mommy & Daddy on Saturday and Sunday. We rode on two different ferries: the Balfour and the Osprey. While waiting to get on the ferry (on our return trip home) from Balfour Bay to cross over to Kootenay Bay we noticed lots of other dogs, so encouraged our mommy to photograph them. Here are some of the dogs we saw while waiting in line for the ferry to load.

This Golden just stood in the back of his master's truck the whole time. Wow, what patience!

These guys are Cade and Max and were sooooo excited to see other pooches.

This little Boxer is 4 months old & his folks say he is still potty training. Sound familiar,Hootie?

This Cairn Terrier's name is Willie and he was SO smart. Only 7 months old and he didn't even need to be kept on a leash. He came when his Daddy told him to and everything. Very obedient.

Here Hootie and Daddy and I are waiting in line in our Jeep. We love to go on trips with the folks.

The Folks on Lake Coeur D'Alene

This is what the folks did on Tuesday when they went to Coeur D'Alene. They went on a cruise without us. Well, at least they brought home some goodies when they returned.

We've had to really rush around to get ready for Petey and Rosie's wedding. Lucky for us we have good buddies with a Learjet to wisk us off at a moments notice! Hope we get there on time.

This is a special (belated) Barkday wish for our dear friend Maggie of Maggie & Mitch. Since our daddy has been home here in farrr North Idaho he has kept our mommy really busy. Soooo she hasn't been able to get away to read everydoggies blogs and is way behind.

Anyway, we just LOVE Maggie and wanted to let her know that we are very sorry we missed her on her actual Birthday on July 10th.

They Left Us!!

What a revolting development this is...Mommy and Daddy went to Coeur d' Alene this morning and left us HERE!!! Not good. We were looking our cutest too. Oh well.

Hootie & Daddy Bonding & More Play Time...

The pics at the top are Daddy and me bonding after he got back to the cabin. He is all trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey! The brace (& swath) that he has on makes him hot, so that's why he has on his funny shorts. He can't do anything but relax, so Mommy is making sure that is what he does. She says he deserves the rest. There are also 2 photos of the July 4th parade in Sandpoint. It was lots of fun & we saw many pooches too!!
