Lots of Snow & Hootie's New Pajamas

It's been snowing like crazy here and we already have about 10inches. A veritable winter wonderland! Mommy let Hootie and I run loose and romp we did!! Snow flying all over. It was great. Our high temp was 14 degrees today. Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 4degrees. Yikes, that sounds cold. I bet Hootie will be happy that he has those new* pj's.

ME! & A Plug For Southwest Airedale Terrier Rescue

This photo was taken right before our dad left for Phoenix. I was enjoying my time with him, but when it comes to photographs, I really like to be the center of attention.

Ahhhh yes, that's more like it....

Our 2011 SWAT engagement calendar came in the mail and we are very impressed. There are at least a zillion photos of Airedales in this lovely book, and every photo has a story about the adopted pooch. My only complaint is that I'M not featured in it anywhere!! Is that Welshie discrimination?

We're in the lockup at Dr. Hall's for a few days while Mommy stands by our daddy's side for support. (I brought a few "pin-ups" of SallyAnn and Lacie to decorate our kennel.) Even so, we'll be popping in on you to see what's going on in your neck of the woods.

Walking With The Folks In Dover Bay, Idaho

We had a great time celebrating the folk's Anniversary and Mommy's birthday on November 2nd. We all went for a nice, long walk at Dover Bay and got to smell all sorts of wonderful odors! Hoping all our buddies are having a good week too!

We Are On Canvas For Posterity!!

Lookie, lookie! Hootie and I are now on canvas for the ages!! This year is a "landmark" birthday for our mommy (Nov 2nd ~ 6-0 years old), so Daddy got her this wonderful birthday gift. This special portrait of us was painted by our buddy Asta's mommy, New York artist, Amarillis Kroon. We think Miss Ami is a modern day Rembrandt! Mom is so thrilled with this portrait of us that she's been carrying it around from room to room since it arrived yesterday. Last night it rested in the folk's loft bedroom. We feel quite honored that Mommy's only wish for a gift was a portrait of us. Thank you Daddy and Miss Ami for making her wish come true!!

This 'n That & A Recipe Too!

We can not believe it took Mommy over 4 months to get this recipe posted. Oh well. It's the one that Miss Theresa made for Hootie's obedience graduation fête and all us pooches enjoyed it.
The top cartoon was in the funnies last Sunday and made the old gal laugh like a hyena. We hope you also get a kick out of it. The poster pic was sent to us from one of our mommy's oldest and dearest friends, Sister Maria. We thought we should warn you all about that virus. ~ Wouldn't you know a feline is responsible! BOL!!

Baby Rock Star Dog!!

Okay, maybe this is a little misleading. Here's the story: Mommy volunteers to clean the church's teen center once a week. It's called The Rock. Anyway, it usually takes her anywhere from 3 to 5 hours to get The Rock cleaned and she usually takes me with her. Yup, I get to help. Mostly I guard the doors, but sometimes I go up on the stage and lay down. The other day I decided to give the microphone a whirl! See the photo of me singing into it? I decided, just for the day, to change my name to Baby RockStar Dog. The only thing missing is the screaming crowd. What do ya think??
