Break Time For Daddy ~ Play Ball!!

When Dad was home he was working like a slave hand sanding our 3-sided deck and rails. We asked him to take a break and play a little ball with us, so he obliged. He's such a nice guy!! We tried to post these pictures 2 weeks ago, but blogger was acting squirrely, so decided to post it now. We miss you Dad! Hope you all have a great weekend.

Woo Woo ~ Thanks Scruffy, Lacie & Stanley!!

Baby Rocket Dog decided to dig into the box that arrived addressed to both of us.
It's come across the USA from Scruffy, Lacie and Stanley.

Come on Baby, can't I help open it??

Thanks. Now I feel like I'm apart of it all!

I chose Bikini Duck 'cuz she has a purple bikini like LacieGirl!

Baby Rocket Dog ran off with the tug of was toy AND my duck!! Give it back Baby.

Now mama wouldn't let us touch this lovely glass Airedale.
She already found the perfect place for it. Away from us.

Can you believe Lacie even sent some of her signature doggie d00d00 bags?!

Here I am enjoying my Bikini Duck once more.
She even makes a sharp, squeaking noise similar to Lacie!

I love this thing!!

All of a sudden my Duck vanished. Where is it??

Why you little thief, Baby!!You are pretty possesive of MY toy!

Okay, trade time. I'll check this out now.

Thank you sooo much Scruffy, Lacie and BabyStan. We are so pleased that Scuff's potty problem is resolved (when we guessed!!) and just love the prizes. You are too kind. We love our toys and mommy loves the glass Dale that she claimed for her own.

We Got To Attend A Bluegrass Festival!!

Here we are with Mommy. Can you read the sticker on our ice chest??
Oooooo cheese...we each got a taste. Thanks Mom!

This is just one of many groups that provided wonderful music all day long.

Dad acted as our "wrangler" at times. Isn't he cute?

There were all kinds of water crafts cruising the river, as well as swimmers.
Look at this cute kiddo...she's looking at her pa like there's a steak in his pocket!!

Wonder what these two are looking at.....

Wrapping up with these pics of us with our daddy. See the shirt he has on? Good advise!

Last Saturday we went with Mommy & Dad to the 3rd annual Kootenai River Bluegrass Festival. The weird thing is, all the grass we saw was green! There was lots of terrific music all day long, and a bunch of dogs too. We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery. (Wish our mom had taken more photos of the dogs though.) Hope you got outside this weekend too.

Our Final Flat Brutus Photos

Somehow Brutus jumped up on our fireplace mantel and managed to make friends with grouse.

Here he is in Hootie's favorite spot in the bay window.
At Far North Outfitters he had to try out the mountain bikes...
...and the cheap sunglasses!!
Here is a collage of his many other adventures in N.Idaho.
Double click on collage to bigify!!

These are the final photos of our friend Flat Brutus while he was visiting with us in farrr North Idaho. We sure had a great time showing him around. He got along well with both of us and was friendly to all he met. By now he should be at our buddy Joe Stains place in beautiful, sunny Arizona.
Sure hope he doesn't melt there!!
(Or get ett by Tanner!)

The Name Game ~ Frankie Furter Version (a little late!)

Frankie Furter started his own Name Game and I decided to join in the fun with Jake & Fergi, Asta and a few other pals! Mama loved me so much as soon as she met me and immediately started calling me Baby. I was pretty scared on the car trip from Cottonwood, Arizona to Phoenix and she just kept saying, "You'll be all right, Baby." So, that is where my first name came from. Next, I would crack her and Daddy up when I would get the 5 o'clock crazies, aka the zoomies! She said I looked just like a rocket dog the way I ran so fast. So, she decided Baby Rocket Dog of Phoenix should be my official name. I usually just go by Baby, but there are some folks who call me Rocket. No one just calls me Dog though. See the picture of the Rocket Dog shoes above? That is JUST what I look like when I do zoomies. Funny thing is that now our mom has several pair of Rocket Dog shoes...Seems I have inspired her footwear too. BOL.
Now Hootie's real name is Hairy Houdini. He got the name Houdini because he has been an escape artist since the day mama brought him home. Daddy was the one that decided Hairy (rather than Harry) was most appropriate. His nickname Hootie came about because mama thought that calling such a long name would be tedious, plus she always liked Hootie and the Blowfish, sooooo that's the story of Hootie's name.

If you haven't visited Frankie, you can click on the Name Game picture at the top of this post and it will take you to his place! Come on, join in the fun!!

The Independence Day Parade & MORE Flat Brutus

Here we are with Flat Brutus heading to the airport to pick Dad up.
This is Mommy, Daddy Flat Brutus, Hootie and me at the 4th of July Parade.
Our buddy Dr. Dre and his mama with flat Brutus.
More of the July 4th Parade.
Yet more of Flat Brutus and the parade. (Hey, where are we??)

Here I am at the hotel in Spokane with Flat Brutus.
I let him play with my toys!

This is Dad, Hootie and our guest, Flat Brutus at the Ramada Inn.

More parade...Don't those flags look glorious?!

Daddy with Hootie and moi!

Mommy with Hootie & me watching the parade.

We had to drive to Spokane, Washington to pick up our daddy last Friday and his plane was canceled. But, he did make it in to Spokane, but veryyyyy late at night so we got to stay at the Ramada Airport Inn. It was lots of fun because we got to introduce Flat Brutus to our pop and also got to run in the rain. Lucky for us Mommy bought us some kibble so we didn't have to starve to death. She also got us some new toys that we broke out at the hotel. On our way home we stopped to watch an Independence Day parade and also stopped in for a quick visit with our buddy Dr. Dre. We wanted to introduce him to Flat Brutus before he left Idaho. All in all, it was not a bad weekend for us. The weather was nice and our dad is home. Yippee!!
